The Carriage House Buffet and Catering opened in 2017 with great reception by the residents of the City of Jefferson and Jackson County and has become a local point of interest due to both the quality and quantity of the food (it is a buffet) and the building the restaurant resides in as well. The restaurant is open Wednesday through Sunday for lunch, Thursday through Saturday for dinner and breakfast on the weekends.

Catering has been an integral part of The Carriage House from the beginning and is available everyday. Our clients include local organizations, government entities, businesses and individuals for large events such as full service weddings and intimate family gatherings.

The owners OJ and DJ Wilkins support the local community with participation in numerous yearly events and the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce.

The Wilkins are also the proud owners of Swirlee’s Frozen Sweets and Treats in downtown Jefferson and in Athens.

Dining at the Carriage House is a unique experience with multiple themed rooms in this home built circa 1885. The owner’s have expanded the existing building several times to accommodate the local demand. The home boasts several private rooms available to rent for groups from 12 to 90. The entire 3800 sf building is also available for private rental.

With the owner’s passion for community and entertainment, guests of The Carriage House will also find changing décor throughout the seasons and an outdoor play area and activities for children. During special holidays, you may find costumed characters, bunny rabbits, bouncy house etc…
